Men and women representing dozens of different careers checked in at Monticello High School Thursday morning for the semi-annual Career Day, hosted by the Monticello Rotary Club and the high school staff. The event gives me an opportunity to share why I enjoy my job as a portrait photographer in the Monticello-Big Lake-Becker area. As these juniors and seniors consider their own career paths after high school, I hope they hear some of the most important tips we share to help them succeed: Step up and work hard, ask questions, listen, learn, solve problems, find your passion and build your vision toward a productive and rewarding life.
